After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gav Plumber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ironville United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gav Plumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Micheal Hurst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martyn Fleetwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nath Gildea, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Blackpool United booed when Ironville United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamie Hylton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micheal Hurst was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gav Plumber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Micheal Hurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gav Plumber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ironville United booed when Blackpool United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Askew didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felix Dickner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. When Patrick Camfield fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ironville United's protests and gave Patrick Camfield a yellow card for diving instead.
