Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dayco Fc's Richie Salmon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Nigel Church from a close distance when the talented Zak Porter managed to make a qualified save. Dayco Fc's players were relieved. If Nigel Church had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9thth minute of the game Gav Plumber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dayco Fc's Zak Porter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zak Porter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gav Plumber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gav Plumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zak Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gav Plumber got free with Zak Porter in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ironville United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jamie Hylton hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, Richie Salmon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dayco Fc and the Ironville United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ironville United booed when Dayco Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Salmon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gav Plumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zak Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nigel Church sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nigel Church got free with Zak Porter in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ironville United's Nigel Church in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dayco Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Zak Porter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Plumber in the 32nd minute of the match. Gav Plumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Martyn Fitzsymon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dayco Fc's Martyn Fitzsymon got a free kick in the 37th minute. Nigel Church sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute of the match, Gav Plumber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zak Porter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nigel Church recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gav Plumber to make the kick off. Gav Plumber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Nigel Church ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zak Porter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Dayco Fc defense, Gav Plumber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zak Porter. The Dayco Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zak Porter should have stopped the shot. In the 59th match minute, Ironville United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Camfield to maneuver through the defense. Travis Radcliffe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martyn Fleetwood. Ironville United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gav Plumber in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zak Porter saved Dayco Fc from getting behind. Tris Baxter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Martyn Fleetwood when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute Gav Plumber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zak Porter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martyn Fleetwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Salmon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tris Baxter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Fleetwood having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Ironville United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Hylton to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Patrick Camfield ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zak Porter was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Zak Porter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Plumber in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ironville United were the better team. Ironville United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
