Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abraham Rothery took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thomas Lemerond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Maclean having to interfere. If Chip Ealham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Harry Maclean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chip Ealham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Woodhall hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Lee Lappin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Manson skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to South Ockendon getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Grant Woodhall hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Thomas Lemerond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Maclean. Seaton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Lemerond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When South Ockendon's Chip Ealham in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seaton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 32 played minutes Seaton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Bassett. Harry Maclean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Lemerond in the 33rd minute of play. If Thomas Lemerond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Maclean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chip Ealham's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, Seaton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frazer Barat to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Seaton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Lemerond came free, but Harry Maclean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Maclean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chip Ealham's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thomas Lemerond struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Harry Maclean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Ockendon. 60 minutes into the match, Seaton AFC's Lee Lappin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Abraham Rothery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. John Manson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Seaton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaz Stamer to maneuver through the defense. Chip Ealham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Maclean having to interfere. Tony Bassett's late challenge caught a South Ockendon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Bassett helped the player get up and apologised. Tony Bassett hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. South Ockendon's Gerry Eagles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Seaton AFC. After a rather tough play, Seaton AFC's Tony Bassett got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Lemerond got free with Harry Maclean in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Lemerond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Maclean having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, South Ockendon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Eagles to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Lemerond might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Maclean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Lemerond ran back to his position shaking his head. Seaton AFC's Harry Maclean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Seaton AFC from getting a goal against them. Chip Ealham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Harry Maclean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Seaton AFC's goalkeeper Harry Maclean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Lemerond.
