Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bradley Johnstone made the kick off which started today's match. Shaun Newby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Johnstone in the 8th minute of play. Hailsham's Rio Short played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mansfield in the 13th minute of play. Wes Knott charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wes Knott the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wes Knott hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The long shot by Gaz Drake in the 22nd minute really tested Shaun Newby's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Isaac Mansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Hailsham got a freekick which was hit by Wes Knott. Isaac Mansfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Short having to interfere. Bradley Johnstone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Newby having to interfere. Isaac Mansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Isaac Mansfield put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rio Short. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Mansfield to make the kick off. Isaac Mansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Kristopher Snowden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thame's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Snowden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristopher Snowden in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rio Short, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Martin Braithwaite kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Alexander Charie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shaun Newby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Thame's Kristopher Snowden was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Bradley Johnstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Short made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Mansfield in the 78th minute of play. Bradley Johnstone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rio Short was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Billy Morning. A hard shot 88 in the game by Kristopher Snowden from a close distance when the talented Rio Short managed to make a qualified save. Hailsham's players were relieved. Isaac Mansfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Kevin Alderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thame's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Alderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Thame left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hailsham.
