Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dave Seaward took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 played minutes Coventry City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Pollard. If Trey Griggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Nicholas Beech ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glenn Birch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Seth Bridgeworth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry City F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callington the free kick. Derek Charles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Greenwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Callington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Clark to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derek Charles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trey Griggs in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Birch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicholas Beech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Glenn Birch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Nicholas Beech put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Glenn Birch. 30 minutes into the game, Coventry City F.C.'s Dave Seaward nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Derek Charles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 33 played minutes Coventry City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Briant. When Hayden Greenwood fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coventry City F.C.'s protests and gave Hayden Greenwood a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Callington booed when Coventry City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Greenwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glenn Birch made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Nicholas Beech sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trey Griggs in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Birch saved Coventry City F.C. from getting behind. Nicholas Beech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trey Griggs made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Nicholas Beech who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coventry City F.C.'s Glenn Birch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Coventry City F.C.'s Dave Seaward sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derek Charles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Beech in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Birch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th match minute, Coventry City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stu Carroll to maneuver through the defense. Trey Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Birch having to interfere. Hayden Greenwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Derek Charles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Callington fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coventry City F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
