Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Norman Plumber made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Woodmancote United's Norman Plumber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jude Rowe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Kick ass United's Ashley Robinson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billie Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jude Rowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Plumber in the 12th minute of play. Alec Morris charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alec Morris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alec Morris hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Billie Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Hughes-Guy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Hughes-Guy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Kick ass United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Woodmancote United defense, Ashley Robinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billie Gallagher. The Woodmancote United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billie Gallagher should have stopped the shot. When Sonny Hughes-Guy came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kick ass United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Hughes-Guy couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Sonny Hughes-Guy made the kick off in the second half. Norman Plumber was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fraser Rothwell charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fraser Rothwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, one of Woodmancote United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Woodmancote United. Billie Gallagher had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Ted Lovell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tony Lock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jude Rowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norman Plumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kick ass United's Graeme Rowe got a free kick in the 70th minute. Billie Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Hughes-Guy in the 78th minute of the match. If Tony Lock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kick ass United's Ashley Robinson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billie Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Hughes-Guy in the 88th minute of the match. Billie Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Robinson in the 89th minute of play. Ashley Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Gallagher having to interfere. Jude Rowe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Lock in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kick ass United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Woodmancote United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
