An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Sherman in the 4th minute of play forced Kick ass United's goalkeeper Jude Rowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Duncan Sherman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jude Rowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sly Hamer went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Bailes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Hughes-Guy came free, but Jez Wilkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bailes FC's Jez Wilkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Hughes-Guy in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Kick ass United's goal looked a bit too open when Sly Hamer came free, but Jude Rowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Kick ass United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Lowndes to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Tyrone Holland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jude Rowe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jude Rowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Pickard in the 31st minute of play. If Jeffrey Lowndes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jude Rowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Sherman in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Hughes-Guy made a kick off. Brendon Pickard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sly Hamer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Duncan Sherman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duncan Sherman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Rowe having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Jeffrey Lowndes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sly Hamer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Alec Morris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kick ass United and the Bailes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kick ass United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alec Morris hit a great ball. Sly Hamer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jude Rowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sly Hamer might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jude Rowe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sly Hamer ran back to his position shaking his head. Sly Hamer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jude Rowe came out and tried to block the shot, but Sly Hamer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Bailes FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kick ass United.
