Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wesley Fuller kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Robinson got free with Danny Barkley in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franz Savage kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Berwick Rangers's Steven Searle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Barkley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frazer McAleer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Danny Barkley made a huge save. If Frazer McAleer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerry Wills took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Coulson. Charles Coulson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wesley Fuller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Coulson having to interfere. Wesley Fuller struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Charles Coulson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hired Goonz. The Berwick Rangers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hired Goonz were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Searle to make the kick off. Berwick Rangers's Steven Searle got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Coulson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Fuller in the 56th minute of play. Charles Coulson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Fuller in the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berwick Rangers's goalkeeper Charles Coulson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Frazer McAleer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Wills kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Wesley Fuller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Coulson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franz Savage's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Jerry Wills had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Coulson. Berwick Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerry Wills was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Berwick Rangers's Charles Coulson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Berwick Rangers from getting a goal against them. Hired Goonz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
