Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frazer Sunderland started the match with the kick off. Spike Kay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frazer McAleer in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Berwick Rangers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frazer Sunderland fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Berwick Rangers's Charles Coulson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frazer Sunderland in the 12th minute of play. Keanu Chapman struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Charles Coulson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thornbury. Berwick Rangers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Frazer Sunderland 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The supporters of Thornbury booed when Berwick Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Endean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frazer Sunderland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Keanu Chapman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Charles Coulson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Keanu Chapman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Charles Coulson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Berwick Rangers's Charles Coulson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Wildman in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Frazer Sunderland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Frazer Sunderland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Coulson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keanu Chapman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Charles Coulson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Nicky Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keanu Chapman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Steven Searle made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keanu Chapman in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Coulson saved Berwick Rangers from getting behind. In the 56th minute Frazer Sunderland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Coulson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Keanu Chapman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Coulson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Frazer Sunderland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Charles Coulson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Myers hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Frazer Sunderland struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Charles Coulson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thornbury. Charles Coulson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frazer Sunderland's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Thornbury's Keanu Chapman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Coulson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Steven Searle fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Keanu Chapman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Coulson having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Frazer Sunderland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berwick Rangers's Charles Coulson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frazer McAleer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Kay having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Thornbury's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Searle came free, but Spike Kay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frazer McAleer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Spike Kay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Thornbury fully deserved thier win.
