Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joseph Basham started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Grange-over-Sands City got a freekick which was hit by Gez Searle. After 5 played minutes, WKS ZAWISZA's Al Wilson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kev Davies came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in WKS ZAWISZA reached it. Zane Machin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Kev Davies when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joseph Basham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kev Davies having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Zane Machin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kev Davies, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gez Searle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grange-over-Sands City's supporters rose to their feet, but Gez Searle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cliff Haxby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kev Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Basham in the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Grange-over-Sands City's Kev Davies got control of the ball when Zane Machin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Zane Machin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WKS ZAWISZA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kev Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Basham in the 27th minute of the match. Joseph Basham took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kev Davies. Kev Davies dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Kev Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Basham in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Zane Machin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joseph Basham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kev Davies having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Joseph Basham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WKS ZAWISZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Basham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gez Searle to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Houlahan in the 52nd minute of play forced Grange-over-Sands City's goalkeeper Kev Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, WKS ZAWISZA's Joseph Basham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kev Davies made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Joseph Basham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kev Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Basham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kev Davies having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Zane Machin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kev Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kev Davies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Basham, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Basham in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kev Davies saved Grange-over-Sands City from getting behind. Joseph Basham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kev Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zane Machin scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kev Davies, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Basham in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kev Davies saved Grange-over-Sands City from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Basham in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kev Davies prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Grange-over-Sands City's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Basham came free, but Kev Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zane Machin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kev Davies read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Joseph Basham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Joseph Basham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WKS ZAWISZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Basham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the WKS ZAWISZA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
