In the 9th match minute, Jórvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Bower to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Munroe came free, but Callum Winterburn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pete Reddington kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Sam Southgate sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olly Grigg skillfully saved the ball. Ash Southgate kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tommy Crowther hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sammy Sweeney took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Callum Winterburn. Jórvik FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kristopher Munroe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz English could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Callum Winterburn made a huge save. Kristopher Munroe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Callum Winterburn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jórvik FC's zone, Franz English stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Callum Winterburn came out of the goal and Franz English tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Lordshill Skates FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pete Reddington hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes, Jórvik FC's Sam Southgate shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olly Grigg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jórvik FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Jórvik FC's Sam Southgate got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience held their breath when Sammy Sweeney in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Callum Winterburn's left hand side. Callum Winterburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Munroe in the 65th minute of the match. If Kristopher Munroe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny McGrath hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Franz English sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Kristopher Munroe put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Callum Winterburn. The supporters of Jórvik FC booed when Lordshill Skates FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Reddington didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Danny Gilchrist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jórvik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Gilchrist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Lordshill Skates FC's goalkeeper Olly Grigg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billie Preece. 90 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franz English came free, but Callum Winterburn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Danny Gilchrist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lordshill Skates FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jórvik FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
