Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicky Wicks got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes WC Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Dean Fenwick. Kris Le Tissier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Davison, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kris Le Tissier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Whitehead in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Swanage's Russ Bastow got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Nicky Wicks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to WC Hawks getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Al Kitchen hit a great ball. Vance Ingham hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind WC Hawks's goalkeeper Calvin Davies, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Swanage's Chip Todd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calvin Davies. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Nicky Wicks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. WC Hawks's Calvin Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Wicks in the 39th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Davison to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicky Wicks in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calvin Davies prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicky Wicks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Davies having to interfere. When Nicky Wicks came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Swanage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Wicks couldn't finish the play. James Boulton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Davies having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Swanage's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Fenwick came free, but Kris Le Tissier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kris Le Tissier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Davison, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match WC Hawks got a corner. Swanage's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Connor Eldridge ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on WC Hawks's corner Connor Eldridge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kris Le Tissier quite easily take care of the ball. Kris Le Tissier made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Quentin Whitehead sent off a good shot on target. Calvin Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Wicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, James Boulton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean Fenwick kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. WC Hawks's Calvin Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Wicks in the 96th minute of play. WC Hawks succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Swanage had controlled the match.
