Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nonmaster FC's Seb Bensley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eddie Keane didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nonmaster FC's Seb Bensley shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Seb Bensley came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Nonmaster FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seb Bensley couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kirk Rowling got free with Eddie Keane in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Gateshead's goal looked a bit too open when Seb Bensley came free, but Eddie Keane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Coe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nath Storry's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Nath Storry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Coe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Kirk Rowling put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eddie Keane. With his leg Eddie Keane managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Nonmaster FC's Kirk Rowling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seb Bensley in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Keane saved Gateshead from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seb Bensley in the 26th minute of play forced Gateshead's goalkeeper Eddie Keane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastien Fordham during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Nonmaster FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gateshead:s goal. After 30 minutes of play, Gateshead's Ty Hughes-Guy made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Coe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nonmaster FC's Robert Coe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nath Storry in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gateshead's zone, Seb Bensley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Keane came out of the goal and Seb Bensley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Nath Storry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Coe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

The wind increased when Nath Storry made the kick off in the second half. Charles Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sol Shephard hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Kirk Rowling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Keane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Nath Storry lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Robert Coe. Seb Bensley got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eddie Keane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Rowling in the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Rowling in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Keane saved Gateshead from getting behind. Sonny Hanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Robert Coe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cliff Crooks charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cliff Crooks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nonmaster FC's Cliff Crooks got a free kick in the 80th minute. Eddie Keane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Crooks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Hanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nonmaster FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gateshead's performance. The match ended with a win for Gateshead.
