Tommy Marlow succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Seb Bensley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirk Rowling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Matthew Duxbury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Seb Bensley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nonmaster FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Bensley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Duxbury breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Duxbury made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kirk Rowling sent off a good shot on target. Kirk Rowling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Coe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micheal Ingram, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Aveley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Pope to maneuver through the defense. Nonmaster FC's Seb Bensley got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seb Bensley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Duxbury read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Ben Dingle hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Micheal Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nonmaster FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cliff Crooks hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Tommy Marlow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Marlow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastien Fordham kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Matthew Duxbury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Rowling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Dingle hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Matthew Duxbury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Rowling, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Robert Coe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Marlow in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Nonmaster FC got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Strong. Nonmaster FC's Robert Coe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Nonmaster FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tommy Marlow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aveley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Marlow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aveley AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
