Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aaron Ackroyd kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Don Foley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick Robson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nick Robson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Bonds in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Highbury and Islington's zone, Jeff Taggart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nick Robson came out of the goal and Jeff Taggart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristopher Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nick Robson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kristopher Bonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Kristopher Bonds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick Robson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Taggart in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Don Foley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick Robson skillfully saved the ball. If Jeff Taggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sol Tipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronnie Charles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gez Brownlow hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aaron Ackroyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Wagstaff having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stephen Cox to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Ackroyd during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Highbury and Islington got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Ackroyd. With his leg Nick Robson managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Walford's Jeff Taggart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jay Newbury's late challenge caught a Walford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jay Newbury helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Walford booed when Highbury and Islington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Newbury didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Charles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Al Wagstaff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Gez Brownlow kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Stephen Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Chris Burkinshaw was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Highbury and Islington the free kick. 75 minutes into the match, Walford's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Cox came free, but Al Wagstaff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Tipton came free, but Nick Robson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristopher Bonds was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ronnie Charles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stephen Cox came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Highbury and Islington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephen Cox couldn't finish the play. Stephen Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Al Wagstaff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sol Tipton's late challenge caught a Highbury and Islington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sol Tipton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Sol Tipton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walford's Al Wagstaff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Charles in the 94th minute of play. If Stephen Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christopher Crossley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Al Wagstaff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Walford players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Highbury and Islington.
