Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nick Robson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boozeon First. A collision led to Highbury and Islington getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jay Newbury hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stephen Cox was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Aaron Ackroyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highbury and Islington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Ackroyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Crossley during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Highbury and Islington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Crossley to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Shane Stayton lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Nick Robson. When Lewis Brownlow came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Highbury and Islington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Brownlow couldn't finish the play. Shane Stayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Robson having to interfere. Deon Norton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Cox in the 69th minute of the match. Deon Norton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Charles in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Highbury and Islington booed when Boozeon First was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giles Bilham didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Highbury and Islington getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aaron Dawes hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Jeremy Nightingale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Shane Stayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deon Norton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Ackroyd in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Shane Stayton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremy Nightingale succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-6 in the 94th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Boozeon First left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Highbury and Islington.
