After 4 played minutes Walford got a freekick which was hit by Sol Tipton. Gez Brownlow's late challenge caught a Boozeon First's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gez Brownlow helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Gez Brownlow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Boozeon First getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. After 12 played minutes, Walford's Don Foley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Deon Norton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Walford reached it. In the 16th match minute, Walford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Taggart to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Nightingale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Al Wagstaff made a huge save. Deon Norton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Taggart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Kristopher Bonds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Wagstaff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremy Nightingale in the 28th minute. Jeremy Nightingales short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Al Wagstaff to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32nd minute, Boozeon First's Shane Stayton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Shane Stayton succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 43 played minutes Boozeon First got a freekick which was hit by Vinnie Sykes. In the 44th minute, Kristopher Bonds left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Walford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Shane Stayton made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Jeremy Nightingale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Al Wagstaff. Walford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremy Nightingale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 56th minute Shane Stayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Wagstaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Walford getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sol Tipton hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Kristopher Bonds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deon Norton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Wagstaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Stayton in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Stayton in the 61st minute of play forced Walford's goalkeeper Al Wagstaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Sebastien Higginson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boozeon First the free kick. Boozeon First's Shane Stayton got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Boozeon First's goalkeeper Deon Norton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sol Tipton. A collision led to Walford getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Chris Burkinshaw hit a great ball. Shane Stayton didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Al Wagstaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ainge in the 72nd minute of play. If Shane Stayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Walford's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Stayton came free, but Al Wagstaff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Walford's goalkeeper Al Wagstaff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Shane Stayton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walford's Al Wagstaff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Boozeon First's Giles Bilham got a free kick in the 90th minute. Boozeon First's Jeremy Nightingale got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deon Norton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Brownlow in the 95th minute of play.
