Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zackary Woodcock got the match started through his kick off. When Rhys Moore came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the BCMY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rhys Moore couldn't finish the play. Burton upon Trent FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Rhys Moore scored to the left of an out of position Franz McCunnie, making the score, 1-0. Steven Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Franz McCunnie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burton upon Trent FC's Franz McCunnie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Moore in the 18th minute of play. Franz McCunnie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhys Moore, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. BCMY's Steven Robson came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Franz McCunnie had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Zackary Woodcock fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burton upon Trent FC's protests and gave Zackary Woodcock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Zackary Woodcock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Zackary Woodcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Carlick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Franz McCunnie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Burton upon Trent FC got a freekick which was hit by Rod Langdon. Reuben Bridgewater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Philip Gale fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BCMY's protests and gave Philip Gale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Philip Gale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when BCMY's Rhys Moore in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Franz McCunnie was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Burton upon Trent FC through an amazing save. Steven Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Franz McCunnie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhys Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz McCunnie having to interfere. Rod Langdon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Rhys Moore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burton upon Trent FC's Franz McCunnie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steven Robson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Franz McCunnie made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rhys Moore to strike the kick off in the second half. Rhys Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz McCunnie having to interfere. Basil Wittingham's late challenge caught a Burton upon Trent FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basil Wittingham helped the player get up and apologised. Basil Wittingham kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. BCMY's Danny Carlick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Woodcock in the 59th minute of play. Rhys Moore might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franz McCunnie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rhys Moore ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Steven Robson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Franz McCunnie. Barrie Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Carlick having to interfere. Franz McCunnie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Robson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rhys Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz McCunnie having to interfere. Basil Wittingham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franz McCunnie. Burton upon Trent FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Steven Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz McCunnie having to interfere. Franz McCunnie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Robson in the 84th minute of play. Franz McCunnie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhys Moore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Steven Robson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burton upon Trent FC's goalkeeper Franz McCunnie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Zackary Woodcock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burton upon Trent FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zackary Woodcock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Carlick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rhys Moore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franz McCunnie went to the wrong direction when Basil Wittingham was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhys Moore in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franz McCunnie saved Burton upon Trent FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the BCMY players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
