Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) BCMY's Rhys Moore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristopher Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Carlick having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Walford got a freekick which was hit by Sol Tipton. 12 minutes into the match, Rhys Moore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Al Wagstaff. Walford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhys Moore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, BCMY's Danny Carlick got control of the ball when Jeff Taggart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sol Tipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Carlick having to interfere. Jeff Taggart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Carlick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Danny Carlick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristopher Bonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Al Wagstaff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rhys Moore went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kristopher Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Danny Carlick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Steven Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Wagstaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Moore in the 37th minute of play forced Walford's goalkeeper Al Wagstaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Walford's goal looked a bit too open when Rhys Moore came free, but Al Wagstaff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Rhys Moore made a precise shot to the right of Al Wagstaff. Walford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Moore in the 45th minute of play forced Walford's goalkeeper Al Wagstaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Basil Wittingham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Al Wagstaff showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Kristopher Bonds made the kick off in the second half. The Walford fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Walford's Kristopher Bonds looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jeff Taggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Robson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Robson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Al Wagstaff 66 minutes into the match. When Kristopher Bonds came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Walford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristopher Bonds couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Walford's Gez Brownlow got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Rhys Moore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Taggart in the 76th minute of play forced BCMY's goalkeeper Danny Carlick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kristopher Bonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Walford booed when BCMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Gale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Foley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danny Carlick. BCMY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rhys Moore might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Al Wagstaff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rhys Moore ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Steven Robson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Al Wagstaff was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.
