Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, British Knights's Ivan Sanderson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Crispin Hayward was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philip Poate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leigh Bullard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Sargent in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in STAC XI's zone, Philip Poate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crispin Hayward came out of the goal and Philip Poate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Crispin Hayward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pat Burns, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes STAC XI got a freekick which was hit by Andre Thompson. 19 minutes into the game, British Knights's Ivan Sanderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Crispin Hayward made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. British Knights's attentive Travis Boulding managed to snatch the ball when Marcus Sheene made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. If Pat Burns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispin Hayward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Edmunds went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Wally Purkiss made a precise shot to the right of Leigh Bullard. British Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 38th minute, Travis Boulding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The British Knights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Calum Button hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Wally Purkiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crispin Hayward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Poate went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Kenny Wray kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ivan Sanderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barry Rooney might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Crispin Hayward. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barry Rooney ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, one of STAC XI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pat Burns placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Crispin Hayward made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Sanderson in the 67th minute. Andre Thompson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Burns in the 72nd minute of play forced STAC XI's goalkeeper Crispin Hayward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Andre Thompson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leigh Bullard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. After a rather tough play, STAC XI's Marcus Sheene got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Sanderson got free with Crispin Hayward in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pat Burns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of STAC XI booed when British Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Kempson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Spike Hellen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leigh Bullard skillfully saved the ball. Andre Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. A hard shot 98 in the game by Ivan Sanderson from a close distance when the talented Crispin Hayward managed to make a qualified save. STAC XI's players were relieved. British Knights's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
