Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pat Burns kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Burns in the 3rd minute of play forced Cantelowes FC's goalkeeper Cirino Montaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cantelowes FC's Cirino Montaña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Edmunds in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Pat Burns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirino Montaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirino Montaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Sanderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pat Burns took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirino Montaña. Cirino Montaña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Pat Burns made a precise shot to the right of Cirino Montaña. Cantelowes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Poate in the 14th minute of play forced Cantelowes FC's goalkeeper Cirino Montaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Sanderson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirino Montaña. Cirino Montaña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Philip Poate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirino Montaña. Cantelowes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Poate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pat Burns during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to British Knights getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pat Burns hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Cantelowes FC defense, Felix Edmunds kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirino Montaña. The Cantelowes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirino Montaña should have stopped the shot. Cirino Montaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Poate in the 32nd minute of the match. Ivan Sanderson scored 0-6 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cirino Montaña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Grozdan Genkovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cantelowes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. In the 57th match minute, Cantelowes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billie Clement to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pat Burns managed to get in a good position for a shot. British Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Pat Burns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirino Montaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirino Montaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Burns in the 64th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Jonny Dudgeon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cantelowes FC's Billie Clement got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Pat Burns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The British Knights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-7. British Knights's Leigh Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grozdan Genkovski in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes British Knights got a freekick which was hit by Philip Poate. Alf Kidd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
