Jonny Dudgeon struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Rueben Hanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantelowes FC. Rueben Hanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Dudgeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jonny Dudgeon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantelowes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Dudgeon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rueben Hanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rueben Hanson came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cantelowes FC's Jonny Dudgeon. But to his dismay, Jonny Dudgeon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cantelowes FC were furious when Mustafa Emre Sidam was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cantelowes FC! Cirino Montaña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shawn Brookes in the 24th minute. Alf Kidd kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Rueben Hanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grozdan Genkovski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Cantelowes FC's Alf Kidd got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cantelowes FC's Grozdan Genkovski in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salford FC's goalie prevented a goal. Grozdan Genkovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Hanson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salford FC's zone, Grozdan Genkovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rueben Hanson came out of the goal and Grozdan Genkovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes, Jonny Dudgeon made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Salford FC's Rueben Hanson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Grozdan Genkovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rueben Hanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The coaching staff of Salford FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alex Lineker had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Salford FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cantelowes FC:s goal. Cirino Montaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rueben Rowling in the 67th minute of the match. Salford FC's Russ Theobald pulled a muscle in his leg after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jonny Dudgeon's late challenge caught a Salford FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonny Dudgeon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, one of Cantelowes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cantelowes FC. The Cantelowes FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Cantelowes FC's Grozdan Genkovski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Loyd Wilberforce with Rueben Rowling as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cantelowes FC's attack was well implemented in the 89th minute, but when Grozdan Genkovski was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 92 played minutes Grozdan Genkovski could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-5 into the left cross. Rueben Hanson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grozdan Genkovski in the 96th minute. In the 99th minute, Will Goodman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 100 minutes into the match, Ash Kingston notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Salford FC's Rueben Hanson. Rueben Hanson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cantelowes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
