Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) British Knights's Pat Burns started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Deptford's Micheal Downs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leigh Bullard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 6 played minutes British Knights got a freekick which was hit by Felix Edmunds. In the 9th minute Rupert Armitstead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, British Knights's Max Stonehouse got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Austin Cooke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leigh Bullard was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Felix Edmunds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. British Knights's Leigh Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Cooke in the 14th minute of play. Leigh Bullard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Downs in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Austin Cooke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barry Rooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pat Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andre Forrest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leigh Bullard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micheal Downs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Edmunds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Forrest having to interfere. In the 25th minute, British Knights's Kenny Wray seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kenny Wray the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of British Knights protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kenny Wray had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kenny Wray kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in British Knights's zone, Joey Gallacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leigh Bullard came out of the goal and Joey Gallacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Niall Naylor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deptford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave British Knights the free kick. A collision led to Deptford getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Niall Naylor hit a great ball. When Max Stonehouse fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored British Knights's protests and gave Max Stonehouse a yellow card for diving instead. Leigh Bullard came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Deptford's Drew Thomas. But to his dismay, Drew Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Andre Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Rooney in the 43rd minute of the match. Leigh Bullard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Cooke in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Deptford were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drew Thomas to make the kick off. Andre Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Sanderson in the 52nd minute of the match. Barry Rooney kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Leigh Bullard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Thomas in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deptford's goalkeeper Andre Forrest, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ivan Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deptford's Tod Rushforth got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Ivan Sanderson came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the British Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Sanderson couldn't finish the play. Andre Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Rooney in the 72nd minute of the match. Leigh Bullard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Austin Cooke in the 78th minute. Felix Edmunds struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Andre Forrest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for British Knights. Leigh Bullard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micheal Downs in the 84th minute of the match. Deptford's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
