Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Ralph Carey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wanlip AFC's Neil Prince played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Leeson in the 5th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Wanlip AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Burrows came free, but Neil Prince reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ozzy Burrows in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neil Prince prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes Wanlip AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Grayson. A collision led to Wanlip AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joe Lobb hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Wanlip AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Carey. In the 20th minute Ozzy Burrows shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neil Prince saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Carey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Cross having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Paul Leeson in the 30th minute of play forced Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Prince showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Gilchrist, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ozzy Burrows sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Paul Leeson scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neil Prince, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralph Carey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Neil Prince showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Paul Leeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Neil Prince showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Currie in the 56th minute of the match. Simeon Ashworth kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, John Paul Leeson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. John Paul Leeson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Victoria United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ozzy Burrows received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Neil Prince tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Paul Leeson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Neil Prince made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Ozzy Burrows could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Neil Prince however easily saved by the left post. If Ozzy Burrows had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Prince didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ozzy Burrows went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Neil Prince made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ozzy Burrows sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Ozzy Burrows got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If John Paul Leeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Paul Leeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Neil Prince tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ozzy Burrows recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoria United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
