Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deptford's Drew Thomas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Armitstead in the 3rd minute of play forced Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Ralph Carey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austin Cooke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Drew Thomas rounded Wanlip AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The audience was convinced that Drew Thomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neil Prince was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Neil Prince made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Austin Cooke sent off a good shot on target. Austin Cooke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Neil Prince tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Wanlip AFC's Neil Prince got control of the ball when Austin Cooke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Austin Cooke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Neil Prince made a huge save. Wanlip AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Drew Thomas scored to the left of an out of position Neil Prince, making the score, 5-0. Neil Prince came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Deptford's Drew Thomas. But to his dismay, Drew Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Micheal Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Austin Cooke got free with Neil Prince in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralph Carey to strike the kick off in the second half. Drew Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Prince having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Thomas in the 53rd minute of play forced Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Drew Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Neil Prince tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Prince stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Drew Thomas's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Andre Forrest made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ralph Carey sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Deptford getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tod Rushforth hit a great ball. Neil Prince made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Cooke in the 71st minute of play. Neil Prince came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deptford's Drew Thomas. But to his dismay, Drew Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Cooke in the 77th minute of play forced Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Drew Thomas made a precise shot to the right of Neil Prince. Wanlip AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Drew Thomas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neil Prince. Neil Prince dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When Deptford's Drew Thomas in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wanlip AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Drew Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wanlip AFC's Neil Prince was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deptford's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
