After a rather tough play, Wanlip AFC's Ralph Carey got a free kick in the 35th minute. Neil Prince made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Rooney in the 37th minute of play. If Pat Burns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded British Knights left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wanlip AFC.
