Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Victoria United's zone, Ivan Sanderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rowan Cross came out of the goal and Ivan Sanderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rowan Cross made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ivan Sanderson sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, Victoria United's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Rooney came free, but Rowan Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Poate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rowan Cross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barry Rooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Cross having to interfere. Rowan Cross had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pat Burns from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Leigh Bullard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzy Burrows, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leigh Bullard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Gilchrist in the 24th minute of the match. The long shot by Joe Kempson in the 28th minute really tested Rowan Cross's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. British Knights's Leigh Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Leeson in the 30th minute of play. Leigh Bullard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Archie Gilchrist went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rowan Cross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Burns in the 36th minute of the match. Philip Poate struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rowan Cross didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for British Knights. Victoria United's Rowan Cross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Sanderson in the 41st minute of play. Rowan Cross made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Edmunds in the 43rd minute. Barry Rooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rowan Cross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pat Burns was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Victoria United's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Sanderson came free, but Rowan Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rowan Cross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Burns in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Ivan Sanderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barry Rooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rowan Cross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Philip Poate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rowan Cross was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute of the match Kenny Wray sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rowan Cross skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute Ivan Sanderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Poate charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Poate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes British Knights got a freekick which was hit by Philip Poate. 80 minutes into the match, Ivan Sanderson notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Victoria United's Rowan Cross. Rowan Cross was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, British Knights's Leigh Bullard got control of the ball when Ozzy Burrows tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leigh Bullard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Paul Leeson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Sanderson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rowan Cross read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Philip Poate, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rowan Cross was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rowan Cross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pat Burns, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. British Knights fully deserved thier win.
