Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oliver Wroe took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Andre Hellen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Al Buxton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Wroe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Gilchrist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Durham City's zone, Bradley Lambert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Travis Gilchrist came out of the goal and Bradley Lambert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Travis Gilchrist made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Oliver Wroe sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Darryl Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Andre Hellen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durham City's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Hellen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Buxton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Al Buxton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Hellen in the 28th minute of the match. Darryl Henry struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Al Buxton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durham City. If Andre Hellen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Mason's late challenge caught a Culcheth City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnny Mason helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Durham City got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Mason. Al Buxton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Hellen in the 38th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bradley Lambert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al Buxton came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Durham City's Darryl Henry. But to his dismay, Darryl Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 62nd minute Darryl Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Buxton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Henry in the 66th minute of play forced Culcheth City's goalkeeper Al Buxton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Culcheth City's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Henry came free, but Al Buxton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Hellen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Henry took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Al Buxton. Al Buxton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Wroe during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Oliver Wroe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Hellen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Al Buxton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Culcheth City getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bradley Lambert hit a great ball. Spike Day was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bradley Lambert kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Darryl Henry struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Al Buxton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durham City. Al Buxton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Hellen in the 98th minute.
