Spectators: 7391 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 50) Fraser Ramsay started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Durham City's Devon Pyrah got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominik Foster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Hellen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Dominik Foster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andre Hellen went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute, Austen Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Durham City's Andre Hellen in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kikhavn FC's goalie prevented a goal. Devon Pyrah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dominik Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominik Foster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Hellen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devon Pyrah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Foster having to interfere. If Sean Wilmott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Durham City's zone, Fraser Ramsay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Travis Gilchrist came out of the goal and Fraser Ramsay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Devon Pyrah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Foster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kikhavn FC's goalkeeper Dominik Foster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andre Hellen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dominik Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Andre Hellen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devon Pyrah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dominik Foster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andre Hellen's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Devon Pyrah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dominik Foster made a huge save. Devon Pyrah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dominik Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Travis Gilchrist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Benbow in the 79th minute of play. When Andre Hellen came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Durham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Hellen couldn't finish the play. Durham City's Travis Gilchrist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Gerrard in the 90th minute of play. If Devon Pyrah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durham City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
