The supporters of Durham City booed when JAKHAR UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Turner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Austen Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Poynton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Travis Gilchrist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Linkletter in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Travis Gilchrist saved Durham City from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austen Tabb in the 92nd minute of play forced JAKHAR UNITED's goalkeeper Frank Poynton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Todd Linkletter put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Travis Gilchrist. For all the effort they put into the match, the Durham City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JAKHAR UNITED.
