In the 4th minute, Ty Turnbull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendon Winstanley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Pedro Chiverton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ty Turnbull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gary Nowland hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Abraham Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Jay Parkinson could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Brendon Edworthy however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Darwen getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ed Kenworthy hit a great ball. Jay Parkinson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Brendon Edworthy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Richard Green in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brendon Edworthy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Green, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jay Parkinson in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brendon Edworthy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Chiverton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Winstanley, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Gamble during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ty Turnbull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Chiverton having to interfere. A hard shot 48 in the game by Jay Parkinson from a close distance when the talented Brendon Edworthy managed to make a qualified save. Darwen's players were relieved. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Green made a kick off. The Darwen fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Darwen's Ty Turnbull looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Abraham Bartlett fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darwen's protests and gave Abraham Bartlett a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Darwen getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Abraham Bartlett hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s zone, Brendon Winstanley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Chiverton came out of the goal and Brendon Winstanley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Darwen's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Green came free, but Brendon Edworthy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play Darwen's Abraham Bartlett was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Abraham Bartlett kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ed Kenworthy kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ed Kenworthy might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Chiverton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ed Kenworthy ran back to his position shaking his head. Darwen's Ed Kenworthy managed to work through ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ed Kenworthy dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Simon Brazier fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s protests and gave Simon Brazier a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Brazier kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Giles Lobb hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Michael Gamble got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Michael Gamble off the ground. A collision led to ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ® getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Michael Gamble hit a great ball. Brendon Edworthy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jay Parkinson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Guy Whittingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Edworthy having to interfere. The ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ® supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Darwen's performance. The match ended with a win for Darwen.
