After 5 minutes, Gary Nowland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ® and the Darwen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Darwen got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Bartlett. In the 22nd minute, Ty Turnbull made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Chiverton. ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Pedro Chiverton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Winstanley in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jay Parkinson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brendon Edworthy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Darwen booed when ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giles Lobb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Pilgrim hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Pedro Chiverton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Winstanley in the 38th minute of play. Darwen were furious when Luke Collier was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd minute, Luke Collier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jay Parkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Brendon Edworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Green was the one to do the kick off. Brendon Edworthy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jay Parkinson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Ty Turnbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darwen's Andre Morning got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Ty Turnbull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Ed Kenworthy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedro Chiverton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Turnbull in the 92nd minute of the match. ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
