In the 5thth minute of the game Steve Hill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leyton Orient F.C.'s Junior Weir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tod Pilgrim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Leyton Orient F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hill came free, but Junior Weir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Leyton Orient F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Felix Jones. Dylon Revell, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Steve Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Weir having to interfere. Steve Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Junior Weir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SAMBA's goalkeeper Shaun Bolton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC SAMBA's Shaun Bolton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Webb in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, James Lyons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leyton Orient F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Shaun Bolton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Lyons in the 44th minute of the match. Junior Weir made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Tod Pilgrim sent off a good shot on target.

In the 51st minute, Steve Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the game, Felix Jones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leyton Orient F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SAMBA the free kick. The supporters of FC SAMBA booed when Leyton Orient F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Shaun Bolton managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Leyton Orient F.C.'s James Lyons fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to FC SAMBA getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Shawn Bannister hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, James Lyons notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC SAMBA's Shaun Bolton. Shaun Bolton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Junior Weir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Pilgrim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. James Lyons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Bolton having to interfere. James Lyons struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Shaun Bolton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leyton Orient F.C.. Steve Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Weir having to interfere. Alfred Markinson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Steve Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Junior Weir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Felix Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Bolton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaun Bolton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Webb, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Leyton Orient F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
