Ryan Dransfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Downing in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Dale Downing made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wetheringsett Athletic's Ryan Dransfield tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th match minute, Wetheringsett Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Quinn to maneuver through the defense. Dale Downing scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryan Dransfield, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Totley City getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Reggie Bayliff hit a great ball. Wetheringsett Athletic's Sonny Driver couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Totley City. After having played for 28 minutes, Guy Lobb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wetheringsett Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Lobb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Wetheringsett Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Downing came free, but Ryan Dransfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Downing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Batty was the one to do the kick off. Dom Perryman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Dransfield having to interfere. Reggie Bayliff hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Shawn Callery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Lobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dale Downing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Dransfield having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Totley City got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Bayliff. With a little luck, Wetheringsett Athletic's Ryan Dransfield got control of the ball when Dom Perryman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Den Woodyat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wetheringsett Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Totley City the free kick. A collision led to Wetheringsett Athletic getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Den Woodyat hit a great ball. Ryan Dransfield made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dom Perryman in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes of play Wetheringsett Athletic's Den Woodyat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Den Woodyat kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Dale Downing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Dransfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 84 in the game by Dom Perryman from a close distance when the talented Ryan Dransfield managed to make a qualified save. Wetheringsett Athletic's players were relieved. Ryan Dransfield was a little too slow when Dale Downing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. If Dom Perryman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dom Perryman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Totley City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
