Kurt Farmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Beck. Gohari FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 10th minute Rio Forster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Beck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rio Forster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rio Forster in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Beck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rio Forster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Forster struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alex Beck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berwick Upon Tweed. 22 minutes into the match, Martyn Christensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Beck. Gohari FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martyn Christensen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alex Beck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martyn Christensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rio Forster in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Alex Beck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Forster in the 30th minute of the match. Martyn Christensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alex Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gohari FC's Alex Beck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Forster in the 34th minute of play. Rio Forster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Beck having to interfere. Alex Beck came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Berwick Upon Tweed's Martyn Christensen. But to his dismay, Martyn Christensen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Gohari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rio Forster came free, but Alex Beck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ken Waite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Forster to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Beck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Forster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rio Forster came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Berwick Upon Tweed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rio Forster couldn't finish the play. Rio Forster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alex Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Beck was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Rio Forster capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rio Forster really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Rio Forster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alex Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Forster who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Alex Beck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Berwick Upon Tweed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Waite to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Slater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Billing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Beck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rio Forster's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Johnny Slater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Cheeseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
