Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mike Llewellyn started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Martyn Christensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berwick Upon Tweed's supporters rose to their feet, but Martyn Christensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasey Pryor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sidcup getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ash Connett hit a great ball. Rio Forster struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Kasey Pryor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berwick Upon Tweed. If Rio Forster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sidcup's Mike Llewellyn got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kasey Pryor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martyn Christensen in the 12th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Rio Forster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sidcup's Kasey Pryor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Berwick Upon Tweed's Rio Forster ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kasey Pryor. Kasey Pryor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Martyn Christensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ash Connett kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Kasey Pryor acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kurt Farmer. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Berwick Upon Tweed:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sidcup:s goal.

After 51 played minutes Sidcup got a freekick which was hit by Howard Wybrow. After some careless play in the Sidcup defense, Martyn Christensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasey Pryor. The Sidcup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasey Pryor should have stopped the shot. Berwick Upon Tweed's Martyn Christensen got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ash Connett's late challenge caught a Berwick Upon Tweed's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ash Connett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Ash Connett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berwick Upon Tweed's Zane Garner-Currie got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martyn Christensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ken Waite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ken Waite during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Berwick Upon Tweed got a freekick which was hit by Ken Waite. After having played for 86 minutes, Zane Garner-Currie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berwick Upon Tweed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zane Garner-Currie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Ken Waite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Waite in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasey Pryor saved Sidcup from getting behind. After 92 played minutes Sidcup got a freekick which was hit by Ash Connett. Martyn Christensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Pryor having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Sidcup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Quantrill to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Berwick Upon Tweed were the better team. Berwick Upon Tweed's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
