In the 10th minute, Glyn Oliver fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Owen Garforth, passed just outside the right post. With his leg Owen Garforth managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Horsham's Barry Nailor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Barry Nailor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Owen Garforth was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
