Phil McGrath hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Al Gardner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Blewitt. Al Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Firth in the 7th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Lance Morrison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wisła 1906 Kraków and the Horsham AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Lance Morrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Horsham AFC's Rufus Denham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philip Fitter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horsham AFC reached it. Ken Fuller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Horsham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Pitts. Philip Fitter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phil McGrath went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Al Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Carragher, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Horsham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Giles Hutchinson. Ruben Blewitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Al Gardner made a huge save. Ken Fuller hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ken Fuller took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Fitter. Philip Fitter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ruben Blewitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Al Gardner made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Ruben Blewitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ruben Blewitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wisła 1906 Kraków's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Blewitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Gardner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Carragher in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Al Gardner saved Horsham AFC from getting behind. Horsham AFC's Al Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Carragher in the 55th minute of play. Wisła 1906 Kraków's Alfred Carragher got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Carragher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Alfred Carragher notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Horsham AFC's Al Gardner. Al Gardner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute Ruben Blewitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Horsham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Carragher came free, but Al Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Blewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Ken Fuller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horsham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Fuller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wisła 1906 Kraków's Don Firth got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 minutes of play Horsham AFC's Liam Morrell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 88 played minutes Horsham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Liam Morrell. Ruben Blewitt struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Al Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wisła 1906 Kraków. In the 92nd minute Alfred Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Horsham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Fuller to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Blewitt scored 2-2 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Al Gardner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
