Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Hydro Fc's Paul Hurdle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Noel Hitchen scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lloyd Noble, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute Paul Hurdle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Gilroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Gilroy came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Hydro Fc's Paul Hurdle. But to his dismay, Paul Hurdle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Noel Hitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lloyd Noble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Todd charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugh Todd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugh Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Noel Hitchen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lloyd Noble having to make a save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpiaa Elblag's goalkeeper Bill Gilroy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Sammy Denham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Gilroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugh Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Gilroy having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benji Blunt was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Dave Maxell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hydro Fc's Lloyd Noble didn't even have to move. When Olimpiaa Elblag's Benji Blunt in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hydro Fc's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the game, Benji Blunt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Lloyd Noble was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Olimpiaa Elblag's Bill Gilroy got control of the ball when Warren Foreman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bill Gilroy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Warren Foreman in the 79th minute. Lloyd Noble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Hitchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Hitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olimpiaa Elblag fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hydro Fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
