After 6 played minutes Hashtag United got a freekick which was hit by Philip Jennings. In the 15th minute, Kris Davies ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruce Ingram was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Beadle came free, but Bruce Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Harvey Beadle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hashtag United's Kris Davies got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Davies in the 26th minute of play forced Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goalkeeper Bruce Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Hashtag United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Davies to maneuver through the defense. Sport Aveiro e Benfica's Bruce Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Davies in the 33rd minute of play. Bruce Ingram came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Hashtag United's Kris Davies. But to his dismay, Kris Davies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Hashtag United's Kris Davies nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruce Ingram made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Harvey Beadle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruce Ingram read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harvey Beadle was the one to do the kick off. Kris Davies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bruce Ingram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruce Ingram stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harvey Beadle's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Charlie Broom came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Aveiro e Benfica's Seb Appleton. But to his dismay, Seb Appleton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Aveiro e Benfica's zone, Harvey Beadle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Ingram came out of the goal and Harvey Beadle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Harvey Beadle came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hashtag United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Beadle couldn't finish the play. When Hashtag United's Harvey Beadle in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Bruce Ingram managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Hashtag United's Kris Davies fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 75 minutes into the match, Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Jennings came free, but Bruce Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hashtag United were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Sport Aveiro e Benfica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garry Moss took the corner. The corner led Hashtag United's Garry Moss to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruce Ingram despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luke Kempson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goalkeeper Bruce Ingram had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Davies. Philip Jennings hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes, Chip Best mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Aveiro e Benfica and the Hashtag United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Sport Aveiro e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chip Best to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kris Davies got free with Bruce Ingram in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes, Tyrone Silvester mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Aveiro e Benfica and the Hashtag United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sport Aveiro e Benfica getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tyrone Silvester hit a great ball. Harvey Beadle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Ingram having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Hashtag United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sport Aveiro e Benfica.
