The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Hitchen in the 5th minute of play forced Spurs27's goalkeeper Ollie Kearney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Spurs27's Rob Chambers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 11 minutes, Noel Hitchen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpiaa Elblag and the Spurs27 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Olimpiaa Elblag got a freekick which was hit by Noel Hitchen. Rob Chambers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Bill Gilroy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 16th minute, Rob Chambers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Olimpiaa Elblag's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Dixon came free, but Bill Gilroy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiaa Elblag's Dave Maxell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ollie Kearney in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benji Blunt in the 26th minute of play forced Spurs27's goalkeeper Ollie Kearney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Benji Blunt made a precise shot to the right of Ollie Kearney. Spurs27's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ollie Kearney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Lamb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ollie Kearney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benji Blunt in the 36th minute of the match. Pierre Sharples recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Austin Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benji Blunt was the one to do the kick off. Bill Gilroy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Dixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Spurs27's goal looked a bit too open when Benji Blunt came free, but Ollie Kearney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Spurs27 got a freekick which was hit by Fred Hicks. Olimpiaa Elblag's Dave Maxell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Spurs27. 62 minutes into the match, Benji Blunt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ollie Kearney, 1-2. 70 minutes into the match, Austin Dixon notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Olimpiaa Elblag's Bill Gilroy. Bill Gilroy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd match minute, Spurs27 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Warne to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Rob Chambers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bill Gilroy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Noel Hitchen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ollie Kearney when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bill Gilroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Dixon in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpiaa Elblag's zone, Rob Chambers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Gilroy came out of the goal and Rob Chambers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
