Bruce Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Hurdle, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seb Appleton in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lloyd Noble saved Hydro Fc from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denzil Beattie in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lloyd Noble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 41 minutes, Denzil Beattie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Aveiro e Benfica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denzil Beattie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lloyd Noble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seb Appleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lloyd Noble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seb Appleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Foreman in the 60th minute of play forced Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goalkeeper Bruce Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Ingram came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Hydro Fc's Paul Hurdle. But to his dismay, Paul Hurdle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rowan Griffiths's late challenge caught a Hydro Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rowan Griffiths helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sport Aveiro e Benfica's Rowan Griffiths got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Paul Hurdle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Hurdle in the 91st minute of play forced Sport Aveiro e Benfica's goalkeeper Bruce Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Warren Foreman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hydro Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Warren Foreman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Ingram breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hydro Fc had played much better football throughout.
