Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Austin Dixon kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iain Hughes-Guy in the 2nd minute of play forced Spurs27's goalkeeper Ollie Kearney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Southwark city's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Dixon came free, but Mike Weston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Iain Hughes-Guy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southwark city's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iain Hughes-Guy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Dixon in the 19th minute of play forced Southwark city's goalkeeper Mike Weston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Iain Hughes-Guy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southwark city's supporters rose to their feet, but Iain Hughes-Guy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Kearney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th match minute, Spurs27 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Warne to maneuver through the defense. Spurs27's Ollie Kearney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iain Hughes-Guy in the 29th minute of play. Mike Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ollie Kearney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Chambers got free with Mike Weston in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, Iain Hughes-Guy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ollie Kearney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mike Barnes struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ollie Kearney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southwark city. Mike Barnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toby Firth during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mike Barnes was the one to do the kick off. Ollie Kearney came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Southwark city's Iain Hughes-Guy. But to his dismay, Iain Hughes-Guy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Spurs27's Ollie Kearney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Spurs27 from getting a goal against them. Austin Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mike Weston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ollie Kearney came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Southwark city's Ben Gavan. But to his dismay, Ben Gavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Spurs27's zone, Iain Hughes-Guy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Kearney came out of the goal and Iain Hughes-Guy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ollie Kearney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Barnes in the 88th minute of the match. Southwark city's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
