He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 6th minute, one of Hashtag United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hashtag United. The supporters of Spurs27 booed when Hashtag United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Ford didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Toby Firth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charlie Broom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Harvey Beadle struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ollie Kearney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hashtag United. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kris Davies sped through Spurs27's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ollie Kearney. Harvey Beadle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ollie Kearney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the game, Kris Davies landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toby Firth during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spurs27 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute, Barry Weedon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ollie Kearney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harvey Beadle's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. A collision led to Spurs27 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Joe Warne hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Spurs27 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Hicks to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Philip Jennings cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ollie Kearney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Ford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Austin Dixon made the kick off in the second half. Spurs27's Ollie Kearney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Spurs27 from getting a goal against them. Harvey Beadle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Hashtag United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Beadle in the 55th minute of play forced Spurs27's goalkeeper Ollie Kearney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Jennings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ollie Kearney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Harvey Beadle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Philip Jennings recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ollie Kearney. Philip Jennings showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Ford during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hashtag United's Philip Jennings got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 85th minute, Samuel Ford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Philip Jennings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
