When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Reigate FC's Dylon Pollard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Steven Patten. Steven Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Yorke in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Biggleswade's zone, Keith Yorke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Patten came out of the goal and Keith Yorke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonny Jones charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Jones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clive Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keith Yorke was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Reigate FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zak Howden in the 64th minute of play forced Reigate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Dexter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reigate FC's Clive Browne got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Keith Yorke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reigate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keith Yorke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bobby Larham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Dexter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Adrian Dexter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Reigate FC's Clive Browne got a free kick in the 79th minute. Adrian Dexter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Howden in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Zak Howden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biggleswade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Howden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Dexter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zak Howden's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Steven Patten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Yorke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Dexter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobby Larham in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
