Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Keith Yorke started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Champs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Patton to maneuver through the defense. Keith Yorke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Syd Winship got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Champs's goalkeeper Neil Jobson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Dexter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jools Cook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jools Cook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jools Cook's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Dexter was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Yorke in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neil Jobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neil Jobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Yorke, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Reigate FC booed when Champs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Jobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Champs's Neil Jobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syd Winship in the 22nd minute of play. Ash Gamble did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Adrian Dexter 23 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Syd Winship sped through Champs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Neil Jobson. Reigate FC's Syd Winship got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Dexter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jools Cook's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Syd Winship ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neil Jobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jools Cook could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Adrian Dexter made a huge save.

Adrian Dexter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Gamble in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Champs's zone, Syd Winship stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neil Jobson came out of the goal and Syd Winship tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Keith Yorke took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Neil Jobson to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Clive Browne could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Neil Jobson however easily saved by the left post. 61 minutes into the game, Leo Jobson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Champs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reigate FC the free kick. Adrian Dexter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Gamble in the 65th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Champs got a freekick which was hit by Leo Jobson. After 68 played minutes, Reigate FC's Dylon Pollard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Neil Jobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Reigate FC reached it. In the 70th minute, Leo Jobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keith Yorke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ash Gamble recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ash Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute Jools Cook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Dexter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jools Cook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Dexter having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Keith Yorke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reigate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Garner-Currie during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Alf Garner-Currie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play Reigate FC's Alf Garner-Currie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 94 played minutes Reigate FC got a freekick which was hit by Alf Garner-Currie. The Reigate FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reigate FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
