Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Larry Cahill kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Olly Hilditch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Brooke in the 11th minute of the match. Bobby Larham who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Nathan Chilton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute Larry Cahill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Patten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olly Hilditch's late challenge caught a Perton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olly Hilditch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Lewis Caton sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Biggleswade's Steven Patten didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zak Howden in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathan Chilton saved Perton FC from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Zak Howden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nathan Chilton, 1-0. Steven Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Cahill in the 32nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Larry Cahill put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Steven Patten. Olly Hilditch hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Biggleswade's zone, Gerry Brooke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Patten came out of the goal and Gerry Brooke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Larry Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larry Cahill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Biggleswade's Steven Patten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Cahill in the 45th minute of play. Zak Howden did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Nathan Chilton 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zak Howden to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Biggleswade got a freekick which was hit by Zak Howden. 54 minutes into the match, Biggleswade's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Cahill came free, but Steven Patten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Biggleswade getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Shane Beecham hit a great ball. Lewis Caton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steven Patten. Biggleswade's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Perton FC's Lewis Caton suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Olly Hilditch was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Steven Patten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damion Renton in the 64th minute. Noel Lane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Steven Patten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damion Renton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bobby Larham came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Biggleswade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bobby Larham couldn't finish the play. Biggleswade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wes Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wes Robinson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Biggleswade got a freekick which was hit by Wes Robinson. If Gerry Brooke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Biggleswade's Bobby Larham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Chilton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Perton FC's Noel Lane got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Noel Lane off the ground. In the 96th minute, Noel Lane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
