But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke McCartney couldn't finish the play. Gareth Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Junior Avery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gareth Hewitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Buster Breckin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC REAL DR booed when Mitcheldean Foresters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Newlyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gareth Hewitt struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Buster Breckin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC REAL DR. Luke McCartney who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Buster Breckin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mitcheldean Foresters's Buster Breckin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gareth Hewitt in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC REAL DR's zone, Junior Avery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sly Fox came out of the goal and Junior Avery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Gareth Hewitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mitcheldean Foresters's Buster Breckin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Mitcheldean Foresters's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luke McCartney fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felix Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sly Fox having to interfere. When Mitcheldean Foresters's Felix Ingram in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC REAL DR's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Felix Ingram was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th minute, Barney McKeown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Felix Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Newlyn kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes, FC REAL DR's Lance Bower shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Buster Breckin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC REAL DR reached it. In the 65thth minute of the game Gareth Hewitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mitcheldean Foresters's Buster Breckin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Junior Avery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sly Fox having to interfere. Kirk Midgley hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Garth Eastham kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Mitcheldean Foresters's goal looked a bit too open when Luke McCartney came free, but Buster Breckin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gareth Hewitt struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Buster Breckin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC REAL DR. Garth Eastham hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Luke McCartney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buster Breckin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth Hewitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
