Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clive Browne started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Beinn Mulligan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perton FC and the Reigate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Beinn Mulligan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute of the match Dylon Pollard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Chilton skillfully saved the ball. Adrian Dexter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Brooke, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, Reigate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rod Knowles to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Gerry Brooke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerry Brooke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Dexter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerry Brooke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match Shawn Garner-Currie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Dexter skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute, Ross Paine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Larry Cahill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Reigate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Garner-Currie to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Browne in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Chilton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Perton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Browne came free, but Nathan Chilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damion Renton hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clive Browne in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathan Chilton saved Perton FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Larry Cahill in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Dexter saved Reigate FC from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Perton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Browne came free, but Nathan Chilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larry Cahill received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Dexter came out and tried to block the shot, but Larry Cahill slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. In the 77th minute, Ross Paine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Dexter acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lewis Caton. Damion Renton charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damion Renton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Perton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damion Renton to maneuver through the defense. Keith Yorke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Chilton having to interfere. When Damion Renton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Clive Browne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Gerry Brooke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerry Brooke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
