Joel Silvester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 13 played minutes Danbury got a freekick which was hit by Joey Delamore. Jacob Duxbury hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Python F.C's Kenny Chambers got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Python F.C booed when Danbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Delamore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Python F.C's Stew Longstaff broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Richard Kidd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Shackleton in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Austen Bryant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Chambers in the 30th minute of play forced Danbury's goalkeeper Richard Kidd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Python F.C's Joel Silvester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austen Bryant in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Danbury getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jacob Duxbury hit a great ball. Louis Shackleton kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Shackleton was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Louis Shackleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Kidd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Silvester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaq Breckin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Zaq Breckin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Danbury's Austen Bryant got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Kenny Chambers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Kidd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Shackleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Danbury's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kenny Chambers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Louis Shackleton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Kidd. That made the score 1-1 in the 77 minute of play. Louis Shackleton might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Kidd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Shackleton ran back to his position shaking his head. Zaq Breckin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Python F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Duxbury came free, but Joel Silvester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jacob Duxbury was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. The supporters of Python F.C booed when Danbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Duxbury didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
